Very useful in both close-quarter and medium-range combat. The xm1014 has an extremely fast firing rate ( you can burst all 7 bullets out in 2 seconds ) and this makes it quit deadly in close combat. However, your ammo will go down fast if you press the trigger like a mad man. The damage made by this gun is depends on the numbers of buckshot you successfully hit your enemy ( max damage = 16 x 6 = 96 HP per round, without armor ). Terrible for long ranges.
